Healthy Families Burnett County Home Visiting
Healthy Families Burnett County Home Visiting is a voluntary home visiting program designed to support families who are expecting or have newborn babies.

Healthy Families Burnett County Home Visiting is available to families prenatally until the child reaches 5 years old. Its purpose is to provide guidance and support to parents to get babies off to the best start.

Since babies don’t come with their own set of instructions, taking care of them, especially newborns, can be confusing and stressful.

Home Visiting is geared toward helping relieve some of this stress and to help cope with other situations at the same time.
How Does Healthy Families Work?
Complete and Sign the Screen and Referral Form. The Family Resource Specialist will connect with you to chat more about our services. Once enrolled, the Family Support Specialist will provide emotional support, share information about your baby’s care and development, and help link you to community resources as needed. Healthy Families is here to support families from birth through age five, providing guidance for as long as they find the program beneficial. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the best possible start for your new baby.
All Healthy Families Burnett County Home Visiting services are voluntary. Meetings with your Family Support Specialist occur in your home, the community, or at the Family Resource Center. Your Family Support Specialist will share free parent education materials and will help you make toys for your baby. Healthy Families can also provide a Pack and Play and other basic supplies for your baby at the time of enrollment. In addition to the home visits, Healthy Families offers fun group activities for the whole family.
