The mission of Burnett County Family Resource Center, Inc. is to serve all families by providing opportunities and activities that promote healthy families and safe communities.

FRC Values and their Definitions
Learning: The process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Equity: Freedom from bias or favoritism. Meeting individuals and families where they are at and providing services to meet their specific needs.
Belonging: When there is a sense of acceptance, inclusion, and identity for our team and our community at large. The feeling of security and support.
Integrity: The practice of being accountable to the mission, community, and team. It also encompasses being honest, and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
Flexibility: The willingness and ability to adapt to change based on the situation or needs of others.
Community Focus: An emphasis or focus on how to support and care for your community.
Open Mindedness: The quality of being ready and willing to consider ideas and opinions that are new or different from your own without prejudice.
History
Burnett County Family Resource Center, Inc. was established in the fall of 2007 with support and funding from Burnett County Health & Human Services, grants, and fundraising. We are a 501(c)3, non-profit, organization that serves all families in our community. Our family services are free and we welcome all who walk through our door.
Our Philosophy
We believe in strengthening families. Like you, our hope is that children grow up in loving and supportive homes and to succeed and be encouraged to do well in all areas of their lives.
